How Utenzeal earns money
Utenzeal is free to use. We earn a small commission when you buy something after pressing one of our “See price” buttons, for example “See price on Amazon” or “See price at Currys”. You do not pay anything extra.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Where the links go
Each “See price” button goes through a short link on our own site that starts with /go/. It then opens the shop’s page in a new tab. Some of these links carry a code that tells the shop the visit came from Utenzeal.
Cookies
Utenzeal sets no cookies of its own. When you arrive at a shop or an affiliate network such as Amazon or Awin, it may set its own cookies to record that you came from us. Those cookies follow the shop’s or network’s own privacy policy.
What commissions never change
- Every product we check is listed, whether or not we earn anything from it.
- Whether a product is recommended on a hazard is worked out from the evidence, by a fixed rule, every time the site is built. Nobody types it in by hand.
- Brands cannot pay to appear, to rank higher, or to change a record.
- A brand that sends us information goes through the same checks as any other source.
Prices
We do not show prices, because they change often. The shop shows the current price. The shop is responsible for the price, stock, delivery and returns.
Independence
Utenzeal is not endorsed by, or linked to, any brand or shop we list, unless we say so on the page.
